When should I schedule my wisdom teeth removal

When is the best time to schedule your wisdom tooth surgery?

If you ask someone from the past when to have wisdom tooth surgery, they might suggest you wait until you have many days off to recuperate, staying off your feet, sleeping it off.

But these days, the processes are faster and more precise, and most patients experience the anesthesia effects much less intensely, wearing off significantly faster than even just a few years ago.

So, that being said, you may not need the amount of time your parents needed to recuperate back when they had their wisdom teeth extracted. Many patients experience same-day returns to a feeling of well-being and alertness. Since swelling and healing can take a few days still, many people schedule these procedures on friday mornings, to give them the weekend to rest. Many other patients like waiting until spring break, Christmas time, or other school holidays, to get that extra time.
